The Air Force Association is a grass-roots, independent, non-profit national association whose objective is to promote greater understanding of aerospace and national defense issues, to support this nation's need for adequate aerospace power to ensure the security of the United States, and to support the men and women of the United States Air Force. Locally, the Tennessee Valley Chapter supports numerous education initiatives, awards programs, and community outreach programs, and strives to provide a strong communication link between the Air Force and the surrounding Tennessee Valley community. Our Community Partners include companies, professionals, and civic organizations; but all support Air Force Association objectives through membership and participation in our local AFA Tennessee Valley Chapter.
